Spirit Wear can be purchased in the store on MySchoolAnywhere.com within these dates. The PTA is also excited to announce the new Franklin Falcons Car Magnet. They are 5 inches in diameter and available to PTA members for $2.50 on MySchoolAnywhere.com. They will be distributed at school in a few weeks. Join the Franklin PTA for a parents' night out at Izzy's Arcade Bar on Saturday, November 3rd. All parents are welcome! We have the entire bar reserved from 8-10pm for Franklin Falcons. $30 per person and includes pizza, heavy appetizers and 3 drink tickets! Majority of the arcade games are free to play. The 10-week program takes place on Wednesdays from 11:15-12:10 pm during lunch and runs from 12/5/18 to 2/20/19. The chess program is taught by Chess-Ed instructors and is open to ALL Franklin students, and students of all chess abilities, novice to advanced. Professional instruction will include the basics for novice players and build with opening theory, middle game planning, and end game combinations for continuing and advanced students. Playing chess improves memory, uses analytical and critical thinking skills, teaches problem solving, responsibility, sportsmanship, social skills and more! The benefits of chess last a lifetime!
