PIZZA Mondays volunteer slots open MONDAY 12/8 at 9:30am

 

Pizza Mondays (Block 2) Open as of Monday 11/17

 

 Orders for Pizza Monday will be open  November 17 and close on December 12.

  • How it works: On Mondays (listed below) your child will be served their pizza at their designated lunch spot. Parent volunteers will be handing out pizza and all PTA members are able to volunteer through the PTA membership toolkit. Please note that Pizza Monday orders do not include a fruit/veggie side. This must be brought separately for the students. Drinks and a few side items may be purchased at mymealorder.com. 
  • If school is canceled on a Pizza Monday there are no refunds for that day due to our block ordering system and this initiative being a fundraiser for our school. On those days, the funds go directly to helping the school vs. purchasing pizza. Thank you for your understanding! 
  • Block 2 runs from January 5th through May 18th  (17 Mondays).
  • Even if you ordered pizza during Block 1, you need to submit a new order for Block 2.
  • Both regular cheese slices and gluten-free slices are available for purchase

Franklin PTA volleyball is coming back!  The goal of this popular league is to introduce the sport of volleyball in a fun way.  This is a co-ed program open to students in 4th and 5th grades.  Registration will be open from 12/8/25 until 1/14/26.
 

  • Sign up on PTA Membership Toolkit.

  • Volleyball season will run for 8 weeks: February 9 - April 9.

  • 12 players max per co-ed team; 2 or 3 teams for each grade

  • 4th grade practices and games will be on Mondays and Wednesdays between 6:30 and 8:30pm.

  • 5th grade practices and games will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6:30 and 8:30pm.

  • Franklin will compete against Carpenter, Field, Roosevelt, and Washington teams.

  • $30 fee includes T-shirt, pizza party, and league supplies.

 

Our PTA is also offering financial scholarships. Please contact Dr. Williams ASAP if interested.  Openings are limited based on sign-up.

This will be Rob's last year in this role as his son is in 5th grade.  He's looking for someone to shadow him this year to learn the role and then take over starting next year.  An ideal candidate has a 3rd or 4th grader and younger sibling, but anyone will do!  Please contact Rob with any questions!
